Welcome to the St. Philomena Parish web site!
We just finished up Vacation Bible School at the end of June. The children learned "to choose" to believe, to act, to forgive, to obey and finally they learned "to choose" Jesus!
You are invited to explore the many dimensions of our parish; come and join us for Mass, an adult education program or a social event!
Is there a way we can serve you?
Don't hesitate to call!
You are invited to become a member and be involved!
St. Philomena Parish is one of seven parishes in our area involved in "envisioning ministry for the future." Under the guidance of the Diocesan Office for Envisioning Future Ministry, men and women from each parish have been called to leadership positions as part of a committee to study the current circumstances of our parishes and community and to offer recommendations on how our Church can best offer ministry in the future. See more in "Envisioning Ministry."
As of December 17, 2007, I have been appointed as administrator of Holy Family Parish in New Brighton. I continue as pastor of St. Philomena. See more in "Envisioning Ministry.
A new Mass schedule for the weekend here at St. Philomena was started back in April because I am serving both parishes on the weekend.
Saturday evening 6:00 pm
Sunday morning 11:00 am
Weekdays: Tuesday at 8:00 am and Thursday at 6:30 pm.
Peace!
Father Steven Palsa Pastor
